Biography

Aubrey was born and raised south of Detroit on the waterways of Gibraltar Michigan. She dreamed of aviation since the age of 4, when her mother carried her to see the Goodyear Blimp at a small local airport. As Aubrey grew up, her peers repeatedly told her that becoming a pilot was more of a male-dominated position, it fueled her inner-fire to prove them wrong. She was later accepted into Aviation Programs at The University of Michigan, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Eastern Michigan University. Aubrey Chose to stay close to home along with the acceptance of a competitive cheerleading and academic scholarship, and soared with the Eastern Michigan University Eagles. Aubrey's initial flight training was successfully completed at the Eagle Flight Center of Willow Run Airport in Ypsilanti Michigan. in 2009, Aubrey graduated with Honors and received her Bachelors in Aviation Flight Technology as well as a shining offer for a paid internship at Aerodynamics Incorporated (ADI), located in Waterford Michigan.

After College, Aubrey accepted the paid internship which quickly turned into a full-time position as Assistant Director of Training at ADI. This powerhouse company operated under FAR parts 121, 125, 135 and 91. In this position, Mrs. Warrick fine-tuned training policies with the FAA, organized initial and recurrent training events for the crew and digitized training records and classes. She also created in-house course material and instructed Pilots, Flight Attendants, Mechanics and Customer Service Representatives. Her custom-designed classes included, Basic Indoctrination to company policies, Crew Resource Management, Dangerous Goods Recognition, and in-field Emergency Drills.  During her time at ADI, Aubrey was still working on obtaining her Certified Flight Instruction Rating to start building flight time.

Before Aubrey could finish her CFI training, she was happily hired out with full staff support from her colleagues at ADI to conduct Aerial Survey for a flight company out of Rome New York. Landcare Aviation welcomed their final Commercial Pilot for the 2011 survey season. In her first flying position, Aubrey was assigned a Cessna-172 M model survey plane complete with Pictometry Imaging C-3 Data cameras and Computers. Her responsibilities for this position was to accept assignment locations, arrange all accommodations, aircraft maintenance, financial record keeping, camera data reporting and grid flying from late fall to the following summer. She lived and flew the 172 for 9 months straight. During this journey to build flight time, Aubreys plane broke down in Longview Texas in January 2011 where she found her next future flying position.

When the survey season came to a close, Aubrey moved across the country from New York to Texas where she started AubreyAire; Aircraft Management and Professional Pilot Services. for 10 years, she organically grew this company strictly by word of mouth and reputation, earning the respect of her male peers that both raised her and supported her in East Texas and across the country. Aubrey has successfully served over 32 clients nation wide and has flown over 29 different types of aircraft. She strategically chose to settle down in the quiet town of Longview, where her husband, Blaine, and two dogs, Behr & Koda, happily reside.

Aubrey is currently still managing, and flying multiple airplanes as well as building her Lighter Than Air Business in the Hot Air Balloon Capital of Texas. She is currently a member of AOPA, Women in Aviation, Balloon Federation of America, FAST-Pilots and Lady Aviators. Aubrey has been a guest speaker on 5 professional Aviation Podcasts as well as for multiple Aviation-Based Summits. She mentors at the Summer Space camp for Longview World Of Wonder Kids and she and her husband, were both named Asbury House Hero's for 2020.

Mrs. Warrick's future goals for AubreyAire is to continue to provide elite custom-designed services in aircraft management and professional flight operations as well as mentor and educate future aviators alike. She hopes to continue serving her local community both in the air, on the ground AND in Hot Air Balloons.
